Black Friday Ads and Deals
Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is the biggest shopping day of the year
with many people hitting stores in the middle of the night to wait in line for
the best bargains offered by retailers. If you want to get an idea of what kind
of sales are available, the website BFAds.Net lists
what is believed to be the items that will be on sale on Black Friday. While
the website has not been endorsed by any retailer, the Black Friday sales items
are often released in advance. CNN Money ran a story on Nov. 13, 2007
previewing retail giant Wal-Mart's ad, which is one of the most highly sought
after circulars by those seeking to find cheap gifts during the holidays. The
company did not comment on the story.

First, The History of Hanukkah
Many
people misunderstand Hanukkah. It is not
"Jewish Christmas" nor is it even the most important holiday of the Jewish
faith. But Hanukkah is a celebration of the rededication of the Jewish temple
by Judas Maccabee. Before the temple was successfully reclaimed the Jews had
little oil to light their lamps and believed that the oil would only last one
day. The miracle of Hanukkah is that the oil lasted eight days. This miracle
represents the triumph of light over darkness; purity over adulteration and
spirituality over materiality.
